Artist's Comments

Came up with the basic concept about 3 months ago while I was trying to get on with some uni work, photo was taken by me at bournemouth front, stock photography is from sxc. Thanks to plasmax7 for showing me how todo the cloud blending. Thanks to sith for encouraging me to finish what started off as a sketch.

Original size is 3100 * 2300.

I've purposefully not added many keywords because I want people to think about the meaning.

Please leave what it means to you in the comments.

After being much pestered to leave what i think this picture means to me - i'm legally obliged to say the following things;

darkness moving to light (vise visa those little wind turbines ect) and all that green nonsense
And 'wonky'.

I prefer the left :D I guess the piccy means progress leads to a brighter future, or something. I think I gave you a better reason on msn ages ago XD
:iconsignificantdigit:
Well, on the left is Galveston...
j/k I haven't been there in a while but people always joke about how dirty it is.
The footprints on the right do bring to mind a famous poster about Jesus...
eroded, smoky, fog-covered beaches on the left?
"Green Mountain Energy" on the right...
"Greenhouse Effect" on the left.
And the flood levels a'rising...

heh yeah the water height worked quite nicely even though its the sand that is lower. overall I just wanted to explain that wind farms aren't gonna screw up the landscape as much as global warming will, though don't think I have the skill to make the difference extreme enough.
